Milliseconds are shown by default. Open Settings if you want to turn them off or back on. The display uses a fixed-width reading so the stopwatch does not visually jump as the numbers update.
When milliseconds are useful
- Quick practice attempts where small differences matter.
- Short reaction or coordination drills.
- Comparing repeated rounds that last only a few seconds.
Practical accuracy note
Browser stopwatches are useful for everyday timing, but they are not certified measurement instruments. Device performance, browser scheduling and human reaction time can affect practical precision.
